Friday’s game was the most-watched Game 1 since Los Angeles’ 3-1 victory over the Houston Astros in 2017 averaged 15.33 million. It also was the most-viewed Friday broadcast on Fox since Game 3 in 2017 (15.6 https://mayfieldpalace.com/ 8 million).
LOS ANGELES — The Dodgers have stormed ahead to a 2-0 World Series lead after winning the first two games at home. The Yankees’ offense was all but shut down by Yoshinobu Yamamoto in Game 2, which also featured an injury scare for Shohei Ohtani after he was caught stealing second base in the seventh inning.

• It was the first walk-off grand slam in World Series history and the second in the postseason, joining the Rangers’ Nelson Cruz in the 2011 AL Championship Series Game 2. The slam was the fifth of the postseason overall, tying ‘21 and 1998 for the most in a single postseason. The Dodgers are the 14th team with multiple grand slams in a single postseason, and they are one shy of tying the 2021 Red Sox and 1998 Braves at three for the most.
• Giancarlo Stanton made his mark earlier in the game with a two-run homer, his fourth straight game going yard. He’s the first player in postseason history with multiple streaks of homering in at least four straight games. Stanton is the third to hit at least six home runs in multiple postseasons, joining Corey Seager and Cruz.

World War Z is a game that I played on Game Pass a few years ago with a friend of mine and we had a lot of fun with it. The gameplay loop of killing zombies (known as Zekes in the WWZ universe) in incredibly high numbers with all sorts of big guns and explosives was an absolute blast.
World War Z is a game full of zombie hordes everywhere, a feeling of great burden and a great experience to try with friends, who will have fun for a long time. But, at the same time, the negative points are very huge, from a bad gunplay to the little variety and very short duration. And they weigh a lot on the title…
The Zekes have really made a mess of things on Earth in World War Z, and it’s up to a resistance of survivors around the world to take them on and try to contain the virus that keeps turning people into mindless zombies.

The Yankees avoided becoming the first team to get swept in the World Series since the 2012 Tigers and the first Yanks team to do so since 1976. They have forced a Game 5 on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium — a game that has proven a pickle for some past clubs that lost the first three games of a postseason series but, in this case, is a big, big deal for a team able to trot out a pitcher of Cole’s ilk.
So while they didn’t finish the job Tuesday night and have their hands full with Cole, there’s no denying the Dodgers are still in the driver’s seat as they try to win the World Series for the second time in five seasons and the first time in a full season since 1988.
